Retinols on rotation

Retinols on rotation:

♡ Rodial pink diamond magic gel night cream – only lasts 6 months, used 2x jars of these already. This is my third one repurchased from TKmaxx on discount. I love the pump dispenser. Infused with retinol, vitamin c and peptides.

♡ Loreal revitalift laser retinol + niacinamide pressed night cream – this also only lasts 6 months. This is my second jar and I have already got a back up  in my stash. Also has a push dispenser.

♡ Innisfree retinol cica repair ampoule – lasts a year from opening, I have one more in my stash. A gentle retinol serum suitable for sensitive skin, I use 2 pumps for my face and neck.

I have been using retinol 4x a week for over a year now since January 2023.

My skin cleared up most visibly since October/November time.
It is now April 2024 and you can see how my skin is doing now.

♡ tony moly the chok chok green tea no wash cleansing water – loved this cleanser! 10/10
wish I could buy more but not sure where to find it in stores so back to my trusty garnier micellar water for sensitive skin

♡ Isntree hyaluronic acid watery sun gel – my fav sunscreen! doesn’t sting my eyes, no whitecast and light non-greasy feeling 10/10

♡ elemis pro collagen marine cream – love the scent in this, creates a bit of a spa like feel at home. Great for my #sensitive #oily #acneprone skin. Would like to repurchase at some point. 10/10 (This was the deluxe mini size 15ml which lasted me about 6 weeks)

♡ cosrx propolis synergy toner – when I first used this I didn’t think it was making much difference but the more I used it I noticed my skin loved it, propolis is so good! Ended up loving it by the end. 10/10
I have so many toners to try next but would repurchase this one at some point. My fav toner is still the dear klairs one

◇ I’m from mugwort essence – this is my second time trying this. (The first time was a full sized bottle years ago) Mugwort is nice and calming but I just can’t get past the scent kind of grassy. 7/10

♡ dewytree hi amino all cleansing milk – loved using this for cleansing in the mornings especially, gentle yet effective 10/10

♡ nature republic super aqua max fresh watery cream – my 4th jar and my fav face cream, will have to repurchase this at some point 10/10

☆ elemis pro collagen marine moisture essence. Pleasant to use, lightly scented but not as hydrating as some other essences I’ve tried 8/10

#skincaresamples:

◇ Kopari peptide glow hydrating moisteriser – this sachet had enough for 4 uses! Loved this straight away, nice light scent of coconut, my skin felt plump and firmer. Would like to purchase a full size jar at some point. 10/10

◇ vichy liftactiv collagen specialist night – a lovely collagen night cream, rich and most suited for colder months but has shea butter so could be pore clogging? Probably not suitable for #acneprone skin 7/10

◇ decleor aromaessence mandarine verte – slight scent of mandarin, no irritation for #sensitiveskin, a nice vitamin c serum orange colour. 8/10

◇ fresh tea elixer skin resilience activating serum – nice serum, lightly scented tea fragrance, sinks into skin well, makes it feel more plump. 8/10

◇ emma hardie midas touch revitalising eye serum – was slightly thick and oily not sure if good for #oilyskin but I could see that dry skins would love it. No irritation for the eyes even with sensitive skin. 7/10
