♡ tony moly the chok chok green tea no wash cleansing water – loved this cleanser! 10/10
wish I could buy more but not sure where to find it in stores so back to my trusty garnier micellar water for sensitive skin

♡ Isntree hyaluronic acid watery sun gel – my fav sunscreen! doesn’t sting my eyes, no whitecast and light non-greasy feeling 10/10

♡ elemis pro collagen marine cream – love the scent in this, creates a bit of a spa like feel at home. Great for my #sensitive #oily #acneprone skin. Would like to repurchase at some point. 10/10 (This was the deluxe mini size 15ml which lasted me about 6 weeks)

♡ cosrx propolis synergy toner – when I first used this I didn’t think it was making much difference but the more I used it I noticed my skin loved it, propolis is so good! Ended up loving it by the end. 10/10
I have so many toners to try next but would repurchase this one at some point. My fav toner is still the dear klairs one

◇ I’m from mugwort essence – this is my second time trying this. (The first time was a full sized bottle years ago) Mugwort is nice and calming but I just can’t get past the scent kind of grassy. 7/10

♡ dewytree hi amino all cleansing milk – loved using this for cleansing in the mornings especially, gentle yet effective 10/10

♡ nature republic super aqua max fresh watery cream – my 4th jar and my fav face cream, will have to repurchase this at some point 10/10

☆ elemis pro collagen marine moisture essence. Pleasant to use, lightly scented but not as hydrating as some other essences I’ve tried 8/10

#skincaresamples:

◇ Kopari peptide glow hydrating moisteriser – this sachet had enough for 4 uses! Loved this straight away, nice light scent of coconut, my skin felt plump and firmer. Would like to purchase a full size jar at some point. 10/10

◇ vichy liftactiv collagen specialist night – a lovely collagen night cream, rich and most suited for colder months but has shea butter so could be pore clogging? Probably not suitable for #acneprone skin 7/10

◇ decleor aromaessence mandarine verte – slight scent of mandarin, no irritation for #sensitiveskin, a nice vitamin c serum orange colour. 8/10

◇ fresh tea elixer skin resilience activating serum – nice serum, lightly scented tea fragrance, sinks into skin well, makes it feel more plump. 8/10

◇ emma hardie midas touch revitalising eye serum – was slightly thick and oily not sure if good for #oilyskin but I could see that dry skins would love it. No irritation for the eyes even with sensitive skin. 7/10

Differin is the retinoid I am using and have been for 14 months now, started back in August 2021 to treat my hormonal acne. Need to keep it up for maintenance. This 30g tube lasted me about 6-8 weeks.

I am ready to try a new shampoo for strengthening, ordered one and it is on it’s way – loreal elvive fibrology thickening shampoo. Currently using tresemme biotin but notice alot of hair loss/shedding when I wash my hair which is worrying me and would like to see improvement by using a new shampoo to compare.

I am on my 3rd or 4th bottle of hair oil, may try something new next – loreal elvive extraordinary oil, need to purchase it first.

As for the rest – I have a few cleansers, toners and body lotions to use next so will not be repurchasing any of these.
I enjoyed the purito centella green level calming toner the most and may consider repurchasing at some point. The byoma creamy jelly cleanser was a basic affordable cleanser worked well but I didn’t like the smell much however got used to it over time.
The cowshed body lotion was really nice, I am now using my fav rituals of ayurveda body cream.

August empties and favourites

I loved using the rituals of karma body moisteriser, Tony Moly chok chok green tea cream, Abib heartleaf spot pad. They were great to use during the summer. My face and body felt refreshed and revitalised.

I already have backups of the benton centella gel cream, rituals moisteriser and the tony moly cream. Would like to repurchase the spot pad again maybe next time I make a yesstyle order.

June empties + favourites

I loved using the Laneige Cica cream, Klairs midnight blue calming cream, missha sun gel, and tresemmé shampoo – would repurchase them all at some point.

Dear klairs cleansing oil and the rituals sakura shower foam were ok but I wouldn’t purchase them again. The cleansing oil was thick and kind of sticky when applying. The shower foam scent was nice but I got bored of it quite quickly – their other scents I enjoyed much more.

May empties and favourites 2021

Here are my empties for May.

This was the first time I tried something from crabtree & evelyn – love this fragrance avocado, olive and basil – so light and refreshing. This handcream lasted me nearly 3 months. I would like to repurchase this again in future once I finish all my handcreams.

The innisfree jeju cherry blossom jelly cream is lightly fragranced and a light gel texture, nice for Spring/Summer weather. I haven’t repurchased it as I am trying to move away from scented products for face as I have sensitive skin. This cream also contains niacinamide.

Urang pink everlasting ampoule feels great on the skin very luxurious, has centella asiatica and is for anti aging. I haven’t repurchased it as I have a few serums to get through and this one is quite pricey. Maybe if there is a sale at some point I will treat myself to this serum again.

I really enjoyed using the Nature Republic aloe vera foaming gel along with the forest garden cleansing oil which goes well together, compared to when I tried it alone last summer, it foams up nicely and is good for the skin during the Winter/Spring season. Would like to repurchase in future, but currently I have a lot of second cleansers to try.

This is my 3rd jar of Nature Republic super aqua max fresh watery cream for oily skin. This is a good all round face cream I have used the past few years for all seasons. A staple and non-irritating. I would like to repurchase in future. However I have a few face creams to try next.

Purito sun gel – I enjoyed using this but with the recent sunscreen scandal found out it was not spf50 only about spf22, so was upset about it but didn’t want to waste it. As we were in lockdown past few months I decided to use it as I was mostly indoors.

I am now finishing my Missha sun gel spf50, but when it is summer I will switch to my latest purchase La roche posay athelios sunscreen spf50.

** I didn’t manage to finish the whole bottle of my current cleansing oil but used about two thirds of it before it reached expiry date – Nature republic forest garden cleansing oil was nice and felt better when used in conjunction with their aloe vera foaming cleanser, I would consider purchasing both in future but keeping in mind to use them together for best effects!

My 3 fav mascaras, would definitely repurchase again!
